Life happens, plans change - we get it! If you ever need to cancel your reservation, please notify us via email at least 3 hours before your booking. You will be given a credit to reschedule your session at a later time. In the event of a no-show or last minute cancellation your opportunity to receive a credit will be forfeited. Our cancellation policy is in place to prevent no shows, last minute cancellations, or students from holding a spot without fully committing. It is also in place to protect the time and energy of our service providers who often prep days in advance for classes, workshops and special events. We've implemented this cancellation policy in the best interest of our community at The Studio, and to give everyone a fair opportunity to attend offerings due to limited space.
To reschedule or cancel a class log into your account and go to "My Bookings" to manage all your upcoming bookings. You can also email info@thestudioputnam.com and we'll take care of it for you.
All classes, workshops, special events, retreats, trainings, appointments, memberships, class packs, gift cards and merchandise are non-refundable.
Any refunds granted due to accidental or double purchases will be subject to a 3% Wix transaction fee. It is the responsibility of the client to review and double check the "Order Summary" on the checkout page before confirming a purchase. Please review our membership, class pack and class cancellation policies before confirming your purchase.
If your booking has been canceled by The Studio due to weather or other circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or class credit. Please give us 3 hours notice if you need to cancel you reservation. You will be given a credit to reschedule at a later time. No shows or late cancellations will not be given a credit.
All memberships are non-refundable and based on a 12-month contract.
Your card will automatically be charged each month on the date of the initial purchase until the membership expires. These memberships cannot be canceled in your account settings or transferred to another person. Memberships can be paused for up to 8 weeks. Any paused amount of time will not count toward your 12 month commitment. Please contact us to inquire about pausing your membership.
Early Termination:
In the event you need to cancel your membership, early termination is subject to a one-time cancellation fee (2 months worth of membership payment) regardless of any unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to injury, illness, acts of god and relocation. Please refer to each individual membership's policy agreements at time of checkout under "Plan Policy" for the exact cancellation fee amount.
You will be offered a Class Pack at the time of cancellation with a total number of class credits equal to the amount of your cancellation fee. These class credits can be used for any weekly classes and will give you the flexibility to continue taking classes when your schedule allows. Class Pack credits expire after 6 months. Client may choose to refuse a Class Pack. Opportunity to secure a Class Pack will be forfeited if refused at the time of cancellation.
Failed Payments:
If payment fails for whatever reason, your account will be automatically entered into a 3-day grace period. During this time, you must update your payment information and submit payment to avoid cancellation. If not updated within 3 days your membership will be automatically canceled. You will need to register online for another membership to continue taking classes.
If your membership payment fails while you were paying a special rate from a Black Friday sale, any other limited time sale or a rate based on old pricing previous to March 1, 2025, you will not be able to recover that membership rate once the membership has been canceled. You will need to sign up for another membership.
Please review our policies before committing!
We have a strict membership policy. Please make sure you are 100% ready to commit to a membership before signing up. Review our "Plan Policies" and "Order Summary" on the checkout page before confirming your membership.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR THE CORRECT MEMBERSHIP AND READ THE MEMBERSHIP LISTING! THE 4X PASS, 8XPASS AND UNLIMITED PASS ARE 12-MONTH MEMBERSHIPS NOT CLASS PACKS.
Non-Membership Options:
If you would like to attend classes on a regular basis without committing to a membership contract, we recommend checking out our Class Pack options. Class Packs are a non-membership option that offer more flexibility for students who have irregular schedules and want to attend classes when they have the time to. Learn more here.
ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY for Disrespect, Harassment, or Harmful Behavior
We are committed to creating a supportive, welcoming, and safe environment for every student, teacher, and team member. Yoga is more than movement. It is a practice rooted in respect, non-violence, compassion, honesty, and personal responsibility. These values guide not only how we teach, but how we interact with one another as a community.
Because of these principles, we hold a clear and firm policy:
1. The Customer Is NOT Always Right
We deeply value our clients, but our first duty is to uphold a healthy and respectful environment for everyone in our community. Yoga teaches us Ahimsa (the practice of non-harm and healthy boundaries) which means by principle we do not allow behaviors that harm the emotional, mental, or physical wellbeing of our community including both students and staff. Our instructors are trained professionals who deserve the same respect and kindness they provide every day. Their wellbeing is essential to maintaining the quality, energy, and integrity of our studio. While we welcome suggestions and feedback, we will not tolerate any clients who treat our staff with disrespect, intimidation or harsh criticism.
This includes but is not limited to yelling, berating, intimidating, threatening, passive aggressiveness, disrespectful language, racism, harassment of any kind, bullying, raised voices, disruptive behavior or any attempts to control or demean staff.
2. Right to Decline & Discontinue Service
To maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere, the studio reserves the right to:
Ask a client to adjust their behavior
Ask a client to leave a class if their behavior impacts others
Decline service or membership to anyone who violates our values or policies
We make these decisions thoughtfully and compassionately, with the wellbeing of the community and our team as the top priority. Any action that violates these standards will result in corrective action, up to and including removal from the studio and termination of memberships or passes without the right to a refund.
This is not a punishment. It is a protection of the community and a reinforcement of the values that make this space sacred.
3. Our Commitment to Yogic Principles Our policy is grounded in yoga philosophy:
Ahimsa — Non-Violence, Healthy Boundaries
We do not allow behavior that causes harm to others. Respect and safety are non-negotiable. Please respect all students and instructors regardless of race, gender and background.
Satya — Truthfulness
We speak honestly and directly, yet always delivered with understanding and kindness. We expect the same from those in our community.
Svadhyaya — Self-Study, Self-Reflection, Internal Inquiry
Yoga encourages introspection. When conflict arises, we invite individuals to reflect on their reactions and behaviors thoughtfully.
Sangha — Community
A yoga studio is a shared energetic space. Each person contributes to the environment. Protecting the collective good is a core responsibility. Because of these teachings, we will only welcome students whose behavior aligns with these values.
We promise to:
Treat every student with kindness, respect, and integrity
Listen with compassion and address concerns fairly
Maintain a safe, peaceful studio environment
Hold ourselves accountable to the same standards we expect from others
Yoga teaches us that inner peace cannot exist where hostility is tolerated.
By upholding these values, we protect the sacredness of our studio, honor our teachers, and create an environment where students can grow, heal, and thrive.
We gratefully welcome all who come with respect, openness, and the intention to contribute positively to our community.
