Cyclical centered: A Menstrual wellness retreat Sunday, June 28th 12-4pm $90 per person Have you ever considered how your menstrual cycle affects your entire life? Cyclical bodies have a whole internal map that makes us respond to the world differently at different points in our cycles. This can affect how we move physically in our bodies, how we process emotions, how our bodies respond to what we eat, how much rest is needed, etc. The menstrual cycle is also a key point in understanding the overall health and wellbeing within the body, and yet, in society it is not common for many to truly understand its depth and wisdom! If learning about any of this piques your interest, you’ve had a calling to understand your cycles deeper, or you just want to be in a space with like minded individuals as you learn about yourself, this is for you! In this half day retreat, you will learn a whole bunch of goodness about the menstrual cycle & how to support each phase, join in a cyclical body-centered yoga class, be held in connection with others, and take home a self made herbal yoni steam/bath blend. * This retreat is welcome to any cyclical bodies, including those who do not identify as women. Some women-specific language may be used, but this knowledge is for anyone living in a cyclical body. * What you can expect: *A deepened sense of knowing how to support yourself/life around your cycles, so you may find more ease Reverence for your body and how it functions *Practical self care tips/tools for supporting each phase & the more difficult things that surface(PMS, PMDD, Cravings, Cramps, etc.) *Knowledge of how your yoga/exercise practices may change with your cycles *A sense of sisterhood/connection to others, that may follow you as you move forward *Confidence in the wisdom, tools, & self care practices that can be used immediately in your life to support you *Access to a resources list that Julie will email to each participant * A love for who you are and how your body functions! What to bring: *A yoga mat if you have one (the studio has extras too) *Water *Snacks to munch on as we learn/chat, if you don’t eat before (Julie will have light snacks provided as well) *A journal/notebook for writing down any info that feels necessary, and journaling later on in our circle *Any small special items that feel supportive to you *An open mind! **This event is made to be a guide, but not to diagnose or treat any medical issues around the menstrual cycle!**

Please cancel or reschedule your reservation at least 2 hours in advance. This helps us plan accordingly for classes and gives other students who may be on a waitlist enough time to attend a last minute class if space opens up. Late cancellations or no-shows will not be refunded. We understand sometimes unexpected things come up that prevent you from attending class so we invite you to simple reach out and communicate with us.
